Welcome to the AMEP!

Welcome to the Navitas Adult Migrant English Program, also called the AMEP. Thank you for taking the first step in registering for an AMEP class!

The AMEP provides free English language and digital skills lessons to help you settle and participate in the Australian community.

The AMEP has a range of classes to help you learn English, including:

• face-to-face classes
• online classes
• a volunteer tutor scheme and
• distance learning.

Full time, part-time, evening, afternoon and weekend classes are available.

You will need to complete some forms to finish your application. They include the:

• Navitas Application form
• Navitas privacy notice
• Department of Home Affairs privacy notice
• Navitas media consent form

You will also need to have a Unique Student Identifier – called a USI number. Your USI number is your individual education number for life in Australia. If you don’t have one, we will help you get one.
