Not eligible for a government subsidised program?

Many of our programs have been developed specifically to meet the needs of government subsidised programs, and that can feel challenging if you don’t meet the requirements of the program.

With Invest In You, everyone is welcome and able to benefit from our experience and our tailored training. Everyone can take the opportunity to improve existing or learn new skills.


Which courses are available?

All of our courses are now available as an Invest In You course. Choose the program that best meets your needs – everyone is welcome at Navitas Skilled Futures to “Invest In You” –

Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP)

There are 2 streams in the AMEP:

  • Pre-employment English: is a great course for people who want to improve their English and digital skills to help them find work in Australia. 
  • Social English: focuses on improving everyday language skills to help people settle in their community and access a range of services.

Pathways to Work (SLPET, PtW)

Industry-focused training , designed to support you in your English language and literacy needs with vocational content.

Take a Pathways to Work Course in industries like beauty, childcare, aged care or many more, and gain skills that relate specifically to your industry.

Skills for Education and Employment (SEE)

The SEE Program is designed to give you job-related training in literacy, numeracy, language and digital skills.

There’s no set time, you simply attend this course for as long as you need to feel confident and comfortable.

An exciting 8 week course, designed to help you with practical skills to support you finding work, such as resume development, applying to jobs online and interview skills.

Foundation Skills for Your Future

Foundation Skills for Your Future will give you the confidence you need to succeed in the workplace. These courses are created specifically for you and includes tailored training on language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills.

Employability Skills Training

Learn job-search skills, practise interviewing and refine your resume – targeting your chosen career – in this 3 or 5-week program. The Employability Skills Training (EST) program is designed to help you become job ready through intensive pre-employment training.

  • Language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, writing and numbers
  • Digital skills, including using technology, the internet, apps and social media
  • Knowledge of Australian culture and customs
  • Conversational skills with people on everyday topics, such as money, housing, work and transport
  • Communication skills to enable you to interact with government departments and services
  • English for computers and other technology
  • Work skills such as resumé-writing and interviewing
  • English for further study
