What is SEE Stream 5?
Do you have a good level of English and feel ready to start your career?
Our SEE Stream 5 program is a practical course for job seekers. Participants will learn skills in how to apply for jobs, and get the chance to participate in first-hand industry experience.
This career pathway will support participants with resumé and interview skills. Participants will leave with confidence, excited for their future careers.
5-step SEE pathway
The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program has been separated into five streams, taking learners on a pathway from basic LLND skills, through to further education or employment.
What skills do you learn in Stream 5?
- PERSONAL BRAND REVIEW including evaluation of your skills and experience, as well as a review of job criteria to identify suitable jobs in the marketplace. Also includes personal presentation skills, including dress, effective speaking, and non-verbal communication.
- DETAILED JOB APPLICATION SKILLS including tailoring resumes to specific employers, creating specialist cover letters, and speaking skills for further study. Also includes support on promoting yourself to prospective employers, as well as an end-of-course interview for a specific job opening.
- DIGITAL SKILLS, FOR JOB SEARCH AND JOB APPLICATION including specialist skills in navigating online systems such as MyGov and example online job application websites.
- PATHWAY OPPORTUNITIES WITH NAVITAS SKILLED FUTURES
Opportunity to pathway to industry-specific training with Navitas Skilled Futures. Example industries include Aged Care, Health, Transport, Warehousing, and Manufacturing.
