Skills For Education and Employment
(SEE) Program
Develop skills for work and further training with the SEE program.
What is the SEE program?
The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program provides support and training in language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills, giving you the knowledge and confidence you need to prepare for work or further study.
Funded by the Australian government’s Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, the revised and expanded SEE program has been developed to support everyone in the community, including job seekers and those looking to continue their education and training to reach their personal goals.
This free program is designed to help all learners, including those from a non-English speaking background, as well as native English speakers, First Nations individuals and anyone else in the community who needs support. Some eligibility criteria apply.
You can now enrol directly with Navitas Skilled Futures (NSF) or enrol via a referral from your Workforce Australia consultant.
Participants of the SEE program are more confident entering the workplace or further study.
The program has been designed to help you:
- Identify jobs that match your skills
- Prepare for interview success
- Improve workplace communication
- Use digital technology
- Manage money and finances
Find out more about the program in the student handbook.
Workplace Based Training for employers
As part of the SEE program, Navitas Skilled Futures offers free workplace based training for employers.
Our team will work closely with you to identify gaps in employee skills and training. This allows us to design and deliver appropriate training programs for employees to improve your workforce capability and productivity, minimise risk, and ultimately grow your business.
Visit our workplace based training page to learn more about this program and to register your interest.
Dedicated SEE Participant Support Officers
After enrolling in the SEE program, you will meet with NSF’s dedicated SEE Participant Support Officer (SPSO) within the first 25 hours of your training.
Your Participant Support Officer is there to:
- Support you to achieve your learning goals
- Help you settle into a classroom environment
- Place you in work experience opportunities
- Provide mentoring 1:1 and/or group coaching
- Help you access community support services such as childcare or health services.
Dedicated to supporting you as an individual, your SEE Participant Support Officer is there throughout your SEE journey with NSF.

SEE for Apprentices

We can help you succeed in your apprenticeship by improving your digital skills, English literacy, communication and maths. With the flexibility to choose how long you study with us, we’ll work with you to identify the right skills to focus on, ensuring you get the most out of your apprenticeship.
