1. What will employees learn through Workplace-Based Training?
Navitas Skilled Futures will work with your business to design practical training around your team’s needs. Employees can build job-specific language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills, including workplace communication, understanding internal documents, report writing, incident reporting, WHS, customer communication and computer skills.
2. How do I apply for a Workplace-Based Training project?
Employers can apply by completing our Workplace-Based Training enquiry form below. Our team will contact you to understand your workforce needs, discuss suitable training options and confirm whether your business is eligible for government-funded workplace training through the SEE Program.
3. How do employees start Workplace-Based Training?
Once a Workplace-Based Training project is confirmed, our team will meet with your employees to understand their current skills, roles and workplace needs. We may complete a short skills assessment, then create a practical training plan focused on the language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills they need for their job.
4. Will employees receive a certificate after completing Workplace-Based Training?
Successful participants may receive a nationally recognised certificate or Statement of Attainment, depending on the training delivered and units completed. These documents provide an official record of the language, literacy, numeracy, digital or workplace skills developed through the Workplace-Based Training project.
5. Where can employees complete Workplace-Based Training?
Navitas Skilled Futures can provide Workplace-Based Training to employers nationwide. Training can be delivered flexibly to suit your workplace, including on-site, online or in short blocks. Our team will work with you to choose a delivery option that supports your employees, business needs and day-to-day operations.
6. How much does Workplace-Based Training cost?
Workplace-Based Training is delivered at no cost to eligible employers and employees. The program is fully government funded through the SEE Program for eligible participants. Our team will confirm eligibility with your business and employees before the training project begins.
