During hard times, it is more important than ever to celebrate our achievements and recognise the amazing work that continues to happen across the Navitas global community. On 14 September, we held the first ever employee Inspire Awards to recognise extraordinary talent and outstanding achievement of Navitas staff and teams from across the world, hosted by CEO Scott Jones.

Over 200 nominations were submitted across categories including The Care Factor Award, The Expert Award, The Life-changing Lens Award, The Entrepreneur Award, The Ripple Effect Award, and The Performance Improvement Award.

We celebrate our colleagues in the Careers & Industry (C&I) division who were nominated for a Navitas Inspire Award, with the amazing work of Marcella Aguilar, AMEP Volunteer Tutor Coordinator, winning third place for the Expert Award.

The Expert Award recognises those who use their expertise to positively impact the organisation. With nominations coming in from Navitas teams across the world, Marcella’s win is a huge accomplishment and a well-deserved recognition for building the Volunteer Tutor Scheme from scratch and working across states to unite people and help them to achieve their goals. Since 2017, Marcella has delivered training to 559 tutors.

Marcella said: “I am so proud to have been nominated and to have the opportunity to represent Navitas on a global scale. It feels incredibly rewarding to be recognised for the impactful work that is accomplished through the Volunteer Tutor Scheme.”

Congratulations Marcella and congratulations to all winners!
