Common partners & employers questions

1. What skills can my client develop with Navitas Skilled Futures?
Navitas Skilled Futures helps clients build practical language, literacy, numeracy, digital and job readiness skills across Australia. Training can be tailored to your clients goals, including workplace communication, confidence building, work experience, further study pathways and employment preparation.

Employment service providers can refer clients online through our referral process. Employers and community organisations can also submit an enquiry online to discuss training needs, partnership options or workplace-based programs. Our team will review your enquiry and connect you with the right NSF program or pathway for your client group.

Once a client is referred, our friendly team will contact them to discuss their goals, eligibility and support needs. They may complete a short assessment to understand their current language, literacy, numeracy or digital skills. We then help place them into the right program, class or training pathway.

Successful clients may receive a nationally recognised certificate or Statement of Attainment, depending on the program, course or units completed. These documents provide an official record of their skills and training, which can support job applications, further study, workplace progression and long-term employment outcomes.

Referred clients can study at selected Navitas Skilled Futures colleges in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. Some programs may also offer flexible or online study options, depending on availability. For employers, free Workplace-Based Training can be delivered nationwide, including onsite training tailored to your workforce needs.

Many Navitas Skilled Futures programs are free for eligible clients and employees. The Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) and Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program may be free for eligible referred clients. Workplace-Based Training can also be delivered at no cost for eligible employers and employees. Community organisations can enquire about eligible free programs and community project partnerships.
