Benefits of face-to-face learning at our colleges

  • Face-to-face learning rapidly builds your skills and confidence through various methods like reading, writing, discussion, group work, problem-solving, and practice.
  • In a classroom, you can ask questions and get immediate answers, helping you address any issues quickly. Class discussions enhance your ability to express ideas and opinions.
  • Classes occur in a set place, on set days, and for a set time, helping you learn from peers and teachers without home distractions. Familiar classroom settings can also boost motivation.
  • You’ll connect with others, fostering a sense of community and belonging, and many students form long-term, supportive friendships.
  • Access to college staff, including teachers, bilingual support staff, Participant Support Officers and Pathways Guidance Advisors, provides personalised support and feedback.
  • You’ll have access to college technology like Chromebooks and Wi-Fi. Additionally, if you have young children, you may qualify for free childcare while studying the AMEP.
